The reporting, verification and correction standards followed by the Xenon newsroom.
Verification before publication
Writers check news against reliable primary material from organizers, publishers, studios, teams and platform holders. A claim is not published merely because another website repeated it.
No invented detail
We do not invent quotes, dates, scores, statistics, transfers, product features or release windows. If the available reporting cannot support at least three concrete factual sentences, the item stays on hold.
Original writing
Xenon publishes original summaries, analysis and context written in its own words. It does not reproduce full articles or lightly rewrite another publisher’s paragraphs. Outbound links are added only when they are genuinely useful and lead to a trusted primary source.
Prohibited topics
Casino, slots, poker, betting, sportsbooks, odds, wagers and real-money gaming are rejected during story selection and checked again before publication. Sponsored gambling content is not accepted.
Editorial review
An editor can revise the headline, description, article body, category, tags, image and publication state. Stories are checked for unsupported claims, duplication, relevance and clarity before they appear on the site.
Corrections
Material factual errors are corrected promptly. When a correction changes the meaning of a story, a note should be added to the article.
