Recognition beyond competition
UNC Greensboro’s Esports Club has received a national award recognizing engagement beyond the screen. The university notice about the award was published Feb. 5, 2025.
The recognition highlights a dimension of collegiate esports beyond on-screen competition: engagement with people and communities.
The available information does not identify the award or describe the club’s activities, so the scope of the recognition remains unclear.
