Valve has announced a limited-edition white Steam Deck OLED, according to news published on Nov. 12, 2024. The announcement adds a new color option for players considering the handheld.
A custom-shell alternative
Existing Steam Deck owners may be able to get a white look by converting their device with a custom shell. The announcement’s headline describes that route as cheaper, though it does not provide prices or details about the conversion.
The limited-edition model gives players another design choice, while the shell option could appeal to owners looking for a lower-cost alternative. Details such as availability and pricing are not provided.
