What the report says

A report published March 15, 2022, says game performance on Steam Deck is worse when the handheld runs Windows.

The claim puts operating-system choice in focus for Steam Deck players deciding how to run games on the device.

For players, the issue is whether using Windows changes their gaming experience on the handheld.
