Asia cup 2022 will be started from 27 August 2022 which will be hosted by UAE. As we all know the Asia Cup is most famous tournament for Asian Teams for Cricket. Yes all the teams are selecting their teams and BCCI has announced the squad for Team India on 08 August 2022 and Rohit Sharma will lead the team where KL Rahul will be Vice-Captain.
[HAFIJ]India are the most successful team for Asia cup and this Asia Cup-22 is going to be played on T20 format because T20 World Cup will be hosted by October-November at Australia. So every team has taken time to select their best players for the tournament.
[HAFIJ]Team India will played their 1st game on 28th August 2022 against arch-rivals Pakistan in Dubai. So BCCI is not taken any risk for team selections. BCCI has selected 15 players for the tournament and they’ve selected their best and tested players in T20 formats.
Most successful player like Virat Kohli for team India is selected along with Rahul both of them were not played in the recent series against West Indies Tour and also for the upcoming tour to Zimbabwe. Yes, Former captain Virat Kohli was rested for both series.
[HAFIJ]Rahul also not played after IPL, because he underwent sports hernia surgery after IPL, they are now totally fit and fine so BCCI had no other option to not select them.
Team India also have a strong spin attack in their squad, Yuzvendra Chahal also returned after being rested for 5 T20 matches against West Indies, he will join with Ravindra Jadeja, R Ashwin and young star like Ravi Bishnoi.
